Imagining and envisioning autonomous undersea operations.

Our defense analysis informs (and is informed by) Strikepod Command™, a series of tabletop wargames that model autonomous operations in the undersea domain.

▶︎ COUNTER POSEIDON
The continued development and testing of Russia's nuclear-powered, nuclear-armed torpedo/AUV, Poseidon, has prompted many questions and concerns, including how to defend against such a weapon. Counter Poseidon is designed to simulate the use of various sensors, countermeasures, and weapons to disrupt and/or destroy a Poseidon attack.

A microgame of Counter Poseidon is currently available:

▶︎ MOBILE MINEFIELD / Anti-Surface - Coming Soon
Mine warfare continues to evolve, and the convergence of mines, torpedoes, and AUVs will eventually enable both state and nonstate actors to integrate autonomous underwater systems into offensive maritime operations. Tomorrow's mobile minefields could be comprised of torpedo-mines that operate within the water column, rather than from the seabed. Or, given current limitations in onboard energy storage, high-endurance blended wing glider-mines, which are capable of accommodating a heavyweight payload and operating over long distances for months at a time. Strikepod Command: Mobile Minefield / Anti-Surface simulates offensive mine warfare operations using a swarm of mobile mines to engage a surface target.

▶︎ SUBSEA OPS - Coming Soon
Strikepod Command: Subsea Ops is a card-driven wargame that simulates the operational and tactical employment of autonomous undersea systems. Using decks comprised of vehicles, sensors, energy modules, and effects, players must establish subsea kill chains in order to disrupt, degrade, and destroy enemy assets and operations.
